+ Brazilian Hair Care Tips: How To Maintain Your Locks

sweet locks virgin brazilian hair

  • Heat protector is great for keeping your hair sweet! Prior to flat ironing/straightening or wanding your SL's and natural hair, we suggest that you spray heat protector on it. This will stop the heat from damaging your hair, leaving it healthy and shiny instead of dry, brittle & broken! This can be found online or in your local beauty supply store from various brands.
  • To maintain full, fluffy, bouncy, non-greasy hair, wash or condition wash (co wash) your SL's every1-2 weeks as needed.
  • When installing your SL's we suggest that you try not to cut the wefts, but to continue sewing it around, as this will help avoid shedding when combing your hair once installed. However, you may need to cut the hair as you get to the top for whichever parting you wish to have done [which is totally fine!].
  • You should use a wide tooth comb and/or wig brush for use on your SL's.
  • Recommended products to keep your SL’s moisture, luster, shine, and help protect hair from environmental damage & exposure and styling tools. Please note that you do not have to use these products if you already have products you are familiar with, they are just suggestions as these are the products we use to keep our hair looking great.
